“BEST. THING. EVER. What am I talking about you ask? I'm talking about the most quality service, genuine care, and excited spirit. A couple of months ago I got married in the middle of COVID-19. Months before that, around the time I got engaged, I began planning a wedding (the way I thought it was going to be played out). But nonetheless, started the process: like picking a venue, a florist, and OF COURSE! A hair and makeup stylist. I was oddly very picky about the vibe I wanted when I was looking. I knew I didn't want anything too loud, or too over the top. So, I had a mutual friend from college that used MP for her wedding, and when I looked at the pictures, I knew I had struck gold. What I didn't know at the time is that MP's work goes above and beyond anything aesthetically pleasing to the eye. “Mary Payne did my hair and makeup for my wedding along with many of my bridesmaids ( I had 10- she had her work cut out). From the first moment I reached out to her she was extremely warm and friendly. She made me feel like we had always been friends. She truly cared about what I wanted my hair and makeup to look on that day. She came to my house for our practice run and spent plenty of time going over what I expected. Then on the day of, she showed up bright and early (poor girl, I am talking 6:30 AM early) with a smile on her face and a COFFEE for me, like what?! Talk about above and beyond. She did an incredible job and it did turned out perfectly, she even came back right before group pictures to be sure I was still happy with the look (it was 106 degrees that day, it should have all been gone but yet it was still there just as if she had redone it).
